I retired from RailRoading several years ago and thought this would be a good time to offer up my personal vision of Art for your visual enjoyment and perhaps compliment your home or office decor with a selection or two........I am self-taught in Art making and don't ever expect that I will ever tire from making marks on Paper, Wood, Metal, and Computer Graphics. I studied photography with the Famous School of Photography, Westport Conn., and used this knowledge while stationed in different and most interesting parts of Europe. While I was on Military duty in Italy, I managed many day-long train trips to Venice to work as an unpaid assistant to Venetian glassblowers. The sad part was not being able to photograph the city of Venice in detail due to the high cost of photo film in those days (1968) and the low salary paid to soldiers. The happy element was all the pretty exchange students found in Venice, I was in love every weekend that I made this magical trip......
